Welcome to the Association for Mental Health Professionals. Kathleen Mills, LPC-S, CEAP and I are creating this institution just for you and this is an open invitation to join us. It's our effort to provide a home for disenfranchised counselors who do not feel welcome anymore in our long-standing professional associations. We'll also be providing a platform from which we can fight the evil nonsense that's taking place in our world today.

We do it for the God that made us, for our kids and their children, for our profession, and for each other. This is going to be exciting because evil always crumbles in the face of Truth.

A Few Housekeeping Notes

• All of our previous blog posts may be found on PracticeMentors.us where they were originally posted and where they will remain for the foreseeable future. All future blog posts will be posted on the AMHP.org website and will be viewable by anyone that knows how to click a mouse.
• AMPH will be sending out one newsletter per week. PracticeMentors will be sending out ce workshop opportunity emails as needed.
• We welcome anyone led by the Creator God as a new member regardless of your particular religion. That's between you and Him.
• We do not, and will not, promote in any manner, any of the trendy social justice, "woke" philosophies so popular today. We do, however, welcome with open arms anyone who is currently in recovery from the grips of that evil way of thinking.
• We will not redefine words, terms, biological facts and definitions, or utilize a fear-based approach to promote any social justice agenda. The vernacular that got us here will do just fine, thank you.
• To anyone that opposes our more "traditional" way of thinking please know that we do welcome any open, public forum debate that you'd like to have but there will be ground-rules to follow: Feelings don't count as facts, you don't get to use revisionist history in your arguments, we will agree on the definitions of about a dozen key words and phrases before we engage, and there will be no name calling. (I know, we just lost 'em all with that last one, didn't we!)

Evil Wins When Good Counselors Do Nothing!

There is something horribly wrong in our country today. We believe that the vast majority of our citizenry sees it, and feels it, but who dares speak up for fear of being slandered and labeled? Those days are over and enough is enough. It's time to get in the fight, take back our country and, yes, we absolutely believe we can and will win.

So, you have two choices: do nothing and hope someone else takes care of the problem, which is all evil needs good men and women to do in order to win. Or, you can join us and add your voice to the growing choir of warrior-angels. Oh, then you'll have earned a story to tell your grand-kids about what you did when America needed you most!
